Paul TodiscoWriter/Director/ProducerPaul has directed several award-winning shorts as well as two features, "Freak Talks About Sex" (aka "Blowin' Smoke") starring Steve Zahn and Josh Hamilton, and "One Day Like Rain." He is developing his third, "Something Happened," which he adapted with writing partner Ethan Gross, based on the novel by Joseph Heller ("Catch 22"). It is being produced by Bryan Singer and cast by Deborah Aquila and Tricia Wood. Paul is also a successful screenwriter. He has written scripts for Bryan Singer, Guy Ritchie, and Todd Field, as well as a television pilot for ABC and Spelling. He is a graduate of the USC School of Cinema/Television's Production program. Jeff BeardProducerCurrently, Jeff is also producing the feature documentary, "Split: A Divided America", which includes interviews with Rev. Jesse Jackson, Tucker Carlson, Noam Chomsky, Al Franken and many more. Also, as an executive producer, Jeff is overseeing Hutch's new quirky world, chillax.tv, and is developing Jacquin Sanders' cult book "Freakshow" into a feature film. In the Fall, 2004, his film "Refund" screened at the AFI Festival. Chris AronoffProducerChris Aronoff was already a veteran media producer when he reached Los Angeles in 2002, first joining the visual effects team for the hit TV show Charmed, where he helped manage over 3000 shots during the 2004/2005 season. In early 2006, Chris switched gears to producing, and quickly entered production on One Day Like Rain, a feature film from writer-director Paul Todisco. At nearly the same time, he co-founded Antibody Films and went on to produce Pirate Camp, Donna On Demand, and Dead Air - four feature films in just over one year. Michel BayanCo-Producer
Living in Los Angeles since 1999, Michel began his time in L.A. as
an actor, moving in to film production in 2005. In 2007 his first
feature film, “One Day Like Rain” was completed and nominated
for the jury prize at the Seattle Intl. Film Festival (the largest
fest in the US) thanks to the success of his low budget marketing
and promotion plan. After this success Michel was asked to write
on indie film marketing for the festival. “ODLR” is on
the International festival circuit and continues to garner acclaim.
Michel was also owner of a computer services and web design company
for 3 years. One day in early 2008, he had an epiphany: The future
of creativity is based on technology. Why not take those two worlds
and bring them together? And thus, Mingling Media was born. Since
its inception in March of 2008, Mingling Media has produced several
websites, videos, and the short film “Help Wanted” for
the 2008 Elevate Film Festival where it won 3 top awards: Best Screenplay,
Best Director and Best Narrative Film. He is currently developing
several websites, 3 web-based series, and various feature film projects
in different stages of funding and development. Jimmy DaddabboCo-ProducerJimmy has a varied and extensive background in the film and television industry. He began his professional life in the William Morris Agency's prestigious agent training program where he spent two years working his way up through their mailroom and as an agent's assistant in their motion picture literary department. He went on to hold positions at such notable entertainment companies as Twentieth Century Fox, Independent Artists, The Steve Tisch Co. and G4TV. In 1997 Mr. Daddabbo formed Owasco Entertainment and successfully raised funding for and produced the award winning feature film Freak Talks About Sex which can be seen on HBO. As an entrepreneur he was a founding partner of the small but very successful Upstate New York quick serve restaurant chain Daddabbo's Pizza. Mr. Daddabbo is a graduate of Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. CrewDouglas W. ShannonDirector of PhotographyOne Day Like Rain is Doug Shannon's second collaboration with director Paul Todisco. He was Director of Photography for Todisco's first feature "Freak Talks About Sex" (aka "Blowin' Smoke"), starring Steve Zahn and Josh Hamilton. Shannon's other feature credits include "The Arrangement," "Color of Love," "One Take," (Best Feature Film at the New Jersey Film Festival), and "Hubcap World," which won awards at the Mannheim, Chicago, and New Jersey film festivals. He has also shot many commercials, music videos, and corporate films. Shannon started out as a theater lighting designer. He went on to work as a gaffer on many independent features, including "Living in Oblivion," "200 Cigarettes," and "The Squid and the Whale." Steven SprungEditorSteven Sprung has edited three feature films and over a dozen television shows including "Clueless," "The Tick," "Andy Richter Controls the Universe," "The Loop" and "Arrested Development" for which he received an Emmy nomination and an American Cinema Editors (A.C.E.) Eddie nomination. He also had the honor of working with legendary title-designer Saul Bass on the main titles for "Goodfellas," "Cape Fear," "The Age of Innocence," and "Mr. Saturday Night." Steven is an active member of the A.C.E. Teo GuardinoProduction DesignerTeo's other production design credits include the shorts "Most Wanted," "The Return of Laura Peters," "Intoxicated Demons," and "What is Funny," which Teo also directed and produced. He is currently writing a feature which will be his next directorial project. Loni PeristereVisual Effects SupervisorLoni co-founded Zoic Studios in 2002 with partners Chris Jones and Steve Schofield. He is an acting creative director for commercial, episodic, and feature animation projects. Loni won the Emmy and the VES award 2003 for Special Visual Effects in a Television Series for Twentieth Century Fox's "Firefly". He was a multiple nominee, with a second nod for Twentieth Century Fox's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". During his tenure in visual effects he has been nominated and directed numerous award-winning projects. Prior to Zoic, Loni served as creative director for Radium, Los Angeles where he oversaw various commercial and episodic projects including Twentieth Century Fox's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel" to which he previously contributed from 1996-1999 while at Digital Magic/POP/RIOT. In features, as well as ONE DAY LIKE RAIN, he was the visual effects supervisor for "Serenity."
