William BenzIanWilliam was born in 1946 near fertile fields of the Ohio River Valley which
his German forbears had farmed continuously since immigrating to the United
States in the 1860’s. As a young child, while roaming
the Seven Hills of Cincinnati, he encountered a statue of Romulus and
Remis being suckled by a She-Wolf and was never the same again. Searching
for its deeper meaning, he found all his teachers tongue-tied with embarrassment
and thus, realized that acting was a way of life. It was through this
early epiphany that he learned a vital lesson– the immediate image is
more important than all explanations that follow. |
